The upcoming Annual General meeting of the Ghana Civil Society Cocoa Platform will take place on Wednesday, 11th and Thursday 12th March 2026 in Kumasi.
This year’s AGM will focus on strengthening capacities of members on the cocoa pricing and marketing mechanisms adopted by Ghana looking at the current global developments. It will also provide an avenue for the platform and its members to develop its strategic roadmap for the year 2026. It will also create space for platform members to dialogue on their respective organizational and cooperative plans in alignment with GCCP’s general advocacy focus to ensure synergies in the cocoa sector.
Expect this year’s AGM to be action-packed, full of concrete policy discussions and recommendation to be documented for submission to key policy makers such as COCOBOD, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and parliament to ensure government’s focus on cocoa sector reforms captures civil society inputs in this strategic policy development.
